self-curated exhibitions:
As part of its ongoing commitment to help emerging and mid-career artists achieve their goals, Annex:art offers self-curated exhibitions. Artists are encouraged to submit proposals for solo or group exhibitions at our partner gallery, located in the historic Acoma Curio Shop in San Fidel, New Mexico. For consideration in this program applicants should be able to articulate the core purpose of an exhibition and its intended outcome.
The space will be available for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 4 weeks. Annex:art will provide assistance with organizing the logistics, press releases and staffing the gallery during opening times.
In addition to the published exhibition fees, the applicant will be responsible for the selection process of the artwork, transportation of the artwork to and from the exhibition, any and all custom taxes & fees, as well as all advertising costs associated with the production of the exhibition.
