Annex:art is pleased and honored to have Birgit Schiemann & Bojan Hocevar offering their four day painting workshop as part of our summer 2017 program.
Birgit Schiemann is an experience painter and art instructor. She divides her time between the Berlin art scene and Wendland, an area of Germany between Berlin and Hamburg known for its many artists and off-beat residents. Birgit has also been an independent curator for many exhibitions in Berlin and throughout Germany. For a preview of Birgit and her work: (click here)
Bojan Hocevar, a native of Croatia, is a very talented painter. His techniques span many genres of painting from abstract landscape to figurative and expressionist paintings. Bojan is also one of the original and founding members of Artline-Berlin and the Good Times Factory art collective in Berlin.
In their "BASICS" of painting workshop, participants will spend time with Birgit & Bojan exploring four different styles of painting. Oil paints, acyrlic paints, pastels and water colors will be used, one each during the four individual days of the workshop in order to familiarize the participants about the qualities of each of these mediums.
Course information:
Time: 4 days, 3 hour session in the mornings and again in the afternoons
painting in the afternoons
Level: beginner to intermediate, individualized instruction is our goal
Participants: minimum 2, maximum 6
Cost: €375, which includes all materials, canvas or paper, paints, etc. and also include full room & board for 4 nights (excluding alcoholic beverages)
